Description:ADS, Inc. is seeking a Regional Account Sales Manager to call on the Department of Energy (DOE) and various other federal agencies across the southwestern region of the U.S. This person will work out of his/her home office in the southwest part of the U.S..

Duties:� Represent ADS products and services to the DOE and various federal agencies
� Carry out direct sales activities in order to meet company defined quotas
� Provide management with sales plan on a monthly basis
� Generate quotes for customers and assist them in identifying terms analysis
� Work with support teams (purchasing, accounting, warehouse, etc.) to ensure that all information is up to date in the system and that orders are delivered in a timely fashion
� Provide outstanding customer service, regularly following up on closed sales to ensure delivery and quality were as promised
� Make cold calls, face to face and via telephone prospecting to develop new business
� Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:
� Prior DOE / Federal sales experience
� 2 years experience in supply, purchasing, contracts or logistics for the federal agencies desired
� 2 years experience with MS Office tools, email, etc.
� Travel: 3 days a week on average. Must be able to meet with customers outside under all weather conditions and must be able to travel by car and plane for long distances as needed
� Bachelors degree; or High School degree with considerable federal sales or DOE experience

Desired Qualifications:
� Must be highly organized and able to juggle duties of both inside and outside sales
� Must be an excellent communicator both in writing and in person
� Needs to understand basic business financial concepts and to be able to budget own expenses in a cost effective manner
� Self-starter with a will and desire to be the best at what you do
� Understanding of government contracts and purchasing vehicles desired
� Prior Oracle experience desired
