| Description: | ADS, Inc. is currently seeking a Product & Application Specialist � MRO Business for Tools and Equipment to work out of our Corporate Headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA. The Product & Application Specialist will support the outside sales team with military Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) business for tool and equipment products. Ideal candidates will combine business development experience with an understanding of military needs and will have a strong understanding of the MRO market and customer requirements.

| Duties: | o Committed to maximizing sales and margin potential for the MRO business (and FES (Fire and Emergency Services) market as required)
o Provide technical support for Sales through trade/vendor show attendance, ride-alongs, product briefings, etc.
o Educate all appropriate individuals and teams on tools & equipment, its products, and opportunities
o Serve as a subject matter expert for the MRO market segments
o Support Unit Sales and Program Sales by identifying product/service solutions and preferred Vendors to fulfill Customer requirements
o Research User requirements to focus development and sourcing efforts on products/categories that will yield maximum business opportunities for ADS
o Maintain an industry presence within the customers' technical community, vendors, and upstream suppliers.
o Participate in the solicitation review and proposal preparation process, as appropriate.

| Qualifications: | Qualifications, Required
o Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; military/work experience pertinent to the product & application area may be substituted at hiring manager's discretion
o 4+ years of experience in tools, equipment, maintenance, or related segments of the government MRO market
o Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and/or Mechanical applications and requirements.
o Extensive product knowledge
o Frequent travel, 50-75%.
o Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
o Excellent oral, verbal, and written communications skills
o Superior organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
o Ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently
